Dental Implants

Dental implants are a permanent solution

Dental implants are a permanent solution for replacing one or more missing teeth, offering superior stability, function, and aesthetics. Unlike traditional dentures or bridges, implants are surgically placed into the jawbone, where they act as artificial tooth roots and support a custom-made restoration—such as a crown, bridge, or full-arch prosthesis.

Step-by-Step Overview:

Consultation & Evaluation
Your treatment begins with a thorough consultation, including a review of your dental and medical history, digital X-rays, and possibly 3D imaging (CBCT scan). This allows the surgeon to assess bone quality and determine the ideal placement for your implants.
Implant Placement
During the surgical procedure, a small titanium post is precisely inserted into the jawbone at the site of the missing tooth. Titanium is used because it is biocompatible and integrates naturally with bone through a process called osseointegration.
Healing & Osseointegration
Over the next several weeks to a few months, the implant gradually bonds with the surrounding bone, creating a stable foundation. In some cases, a temporary crown may be placed during healing.
Abutment & Crown Placement
Once the implant has fully integrated, an abutment (connector) is attached to the implant. Then, a custom-designed crown or prosthesis is secured on top, carefully crafted to match your natural teeth in color, shape, and function.
