Tooth Replacement Options

There are a variety of ways to replace missing teeth, from short-term solutions to more permanent fixes. Anyone missing one or more teeth or seeking alternatives to dentures may be a candidate. While age doesn’t typically limit candidacy, certain health conditions such as diabetes, smoking habits, or prior radiation treatment may influence implant success. Jaw imaging will be used to assess implant viability and determine if further diagnostics are needed.

This solution involves placing a connected set of teeth over adjacent teeth for support. These neighboring teeth are typically filed down to secure the bridge in place.
A flipper is a lightweight, removable plastic tooth held in place with a plastic retainer. It’s an inexpensive, temporary solution.

Metal Partial

This is a more durable removable option made of metal and plastic, secured with wire clasps. It can be taken out and reinserted as needed.

Denture

Complete dentures are often used when all teeth are missing. While some patients adjust well to them, others may find them uncomfortable due to differences in jaw structure.

Dental Implants

Dental implants offer a long-term, natural-feeling solution. They provide a sturdy base for individual or multiple tooth replacements and help maintain bone integrity. Unlike bridges, they don’t compromise healthy adjacent teeth and can last many years, often a lifetime.

Why Choose Implants Over Traditional Restorations?

Implants have several advantages. Traditional bridges may require the alteration of healthy teeth, while dentures may slip or require removal at night. Implants eliminate these concerns and offer superior stability, comfort, and confidence.
