First Visit

During your first appointment, we will conduct a consultation to review your condition and discuss potential treatment options. In some cases, minor procedures can be performed on the same day. However, if your medical history is complex or the treatment plan is extensive, a follow-up visit may be scheduled for the procedure itself.

To help us prepare for your consultation, please bring the following items:

  • Your referral form and any relevant x-rays, if available.
  • A current list of any medications you are taking.
  • Your medical and/or dental insurance information, along with completed forms, if possible. This helps us expedite claims processing.

NOTE: Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the consultation.

If your procedure involves IV sedation, a preoperative evaluation and physical exam will be required. Do not eat or drink anything for eight hours before surgery. An adult must accompany you and drive you home following the appointment.

Please notify our office in advance if you have any health conditions that may affect surgery (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, artificial joints or heart valves, history of rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking medications such as blood thinners, aspirin, or heart-related prescriptions.

X-Rays

If your referring provider has taken x-rays, please request they be sent to our office. If time does not allow, you may bring them with you. If we need additional imaging, we can take those during your visit.
